Yes - Premier Stump Grinding is an insured service provider available to both landscaping corporations as a contract partner and to residential homeowners.

Stump is flush cut to the ground with a chainsaw if not already level with the earth. Debris fencing is placed around the job site to prevent damage from flying wood chips or rock. Stump is ground down below grade (below the ground surface) approximately 12+ inches using our Rayco RG80. Visible tree roots are chased to ensure a clean result.

Our Equipment
At Premier Stump Grinding we pride ourselves in using state of the art, cutting edge equipment. All of our equipment is fully insured, maintained and professionally inspected to ensure the highest level of reliability and productivity.
The pride of our fleet is a 2022 Rayco RG80 which is one of the largest units available. With an 85hp engine it out grinds other machines and gets the job done quicker. This 4x4 wheeled machine is capable of navigating any terrain, yet designed to have minimal impact on your lawn.
All hauling operations are done with our 2023 PJ dump trailer. This trailer gives us the capability to transport our grinder, haul away wood chips and deliver materials at the request of our customers.

Premier Stump Grinding was founded in October of 2022 by owner and operator Nick Marenna. Nick is a career Firefighter, EMT, and Rescue Diver in Westport, CT with a lifelong passion of providing for his community. He is routinely recognized both on and off the job for his work ethic and honesty. Coupled with state-of-the-art landscaping equipment, Nick provides a gold standard service and experience for his customers.
